About
I have been taking people for mountain adventures since I was a trips leader at Adirondack Camp when I was 17. Teaching campers how to cook over a stove and read a map evolved eventually into guiding expeditions to the summits of the highest mountains in North and South America. I was the fifth American female to attain IFMGA status, which is the highest training a mountain guide can achieve. Now 25 years later, I am still living like it is summer camp! I get to instruct and examine new guides for the ACMG, train mountain rescue professionals, and I am loving the affinity group movements allowing more diversity in the mountains. I am so grateful to live on the un-ceded territories of the Squamish nation with my partner, teenagers, and dog, Lily.
